the art of accidental adventure

I  wear multiple hats from behind the camera, in front of a computer, or making by hand.

Marrying my love of image with graphic design and my ability to work well with people lead to a rewarding  20 yr career as a design educator. My work with students day in day out in conceptualization, innovative thinking, and constant attention to detail has made me a stronger designer. Photography, on the other hand, remains my passion and is the translation tool of how I experience my life. Photography is my memory souvenir – each image is a mnemonic. When I travel – near or far, it satiates the urge to capture the visual inspiration and moments I'm experiencing. I'm constantly absorbing my environment from the colors, shapes, textures, and compositions. It's inherent, like breathing. And the results are my life narrative, glimpses of my life story.

One of my earliest dreams was to work for a magazine. As I embark on an entrepreneurial career path leaving the academic institution behind in 2018, I have decided to expand my travels, musings, photo documentations into a blog and coordinated publication. I will also have participatory activities to submit content from other travelers. www.globetripping.xyz
